 Where is Aquarium Supplies Plus? Aquarium Supplies Plus is a dropship company based out of Boston Massachusetts. Weve been in business since October 2002 and weve steadily grown throughout the years in size and reputation. What does drop ship mean? A drop ship business is best described as a company which takes orders from the public, usually via a website, and then submits those same orders to a distributor. The distributor in turn receives and ships the order, for a small drop ship fee, plus the cost of shipping, handling, and, or course, the cost of product. Because we dont directly deal with manufacturers and because we submit every customer order via the internet, we DO NOT have a customer service phone number. When we first opened our proverbial doors, we offered a toll-free phone number. Upon the start of our second year in business, we realized that most people tend to or would rather communicate via email. With this in mind, we discontinued the customer service phone number and although some customers would rather talk on the phone, we strictly adhere to communication via the email method. Our Shipping Methods Our main distribution facility is located in Oceanside, CA. All orders ship FOB Oceanside, CA unless the item is noted as a special-order or dropship only item. Orders ship Monday through Friday unless the shipping carrier (e.g. UPS) has a designated Holiday and only if the order is received prior to 1pm EST. All orders received after 2pm will be processed and shipped on the next business day. UPS Ground Shipping: UPS ground shipping is the standard shipping method. Again, orders placed by 1 PM Eastern Standard Time generally ship the same day. If the order is not shipped the same day, it will ship the next business day. UPS Three Day Shipping: UPS Three Day shipping is an expedited shipping method. Orders placed by 1 PM Eastern Standard Time ship the same day. UPS guarantees delivery within three business days not counting the pickup day and weekends or holidays. UPS Second Day Shipping: UPS Second Day shipping is an expedited shipping method. Orders placed by 1 PM Eastern Standard Time ship the same day. UPS guarantees delivery within two business days not counting the pickup day and weekends or holidays. Returns Policy Please choose your items carefully as we do not accept refunds or exchanges. All items are non-returnable unless defective*. Defective items must be returned to us within (14) fourteen days of the purchase date to be eligible for replacement. Items will be replaced with the same item originally purchased. For items that cannot be replaced, a full refund will be offered. *aquarium bulbs are non-refundable, not returnable, unless obvious, visible damage to theshipping box is shown...take pictures. Contact the shipping carrier for more details. When damage to the product is a result of the shipping process, you must contact us first and then you must contact the shipping carrier for replacement. How to return your item: 1. Contact the Aquarium Supplies Plus Customer Service team via our general email address: info@aquariumsuppliesplus.com. A time Stamp will confirm arrival date. A customer service representative will evaluate your return request, record all the necessary product return information and issue you with a Return Authorization Number (RA). The Customer Service Representative will also provide you address details of where to send your return. You must obtain an RA number immediately so as to ensure that you are eligible for a replacement or refund. 2. Send your item to the return address provided. Please ensure that your RA number is clearly displayed on the return packaging. 3. As soon as the return has been received, a replacement product will be shipped. IMPORTANT: - The return must be received by Aquarium Supplies Plus within (14) fourteen days of the RA number being issued.
- Replacement product will only be shipped after the faulty item has been received by a Aquarium Supplies Plus representative.
- All returns must have an RA number.
- Any item that is returned to Aquarium Supplies Plus without an RA number will be returned to sender.
- All returns are subject to a 15% re-stocking fee and this is non-negotiable.
- Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.
- If you feel that your return falls outside of our policy, then you will need to contact us first to confirm if your return can be accepted.

Shortages/Damaged Shipments All shortages or errors must be reported to our office WITHIN 48 hours of receipt. Email us or click here to notify us of any damaged products that you receive. Failure to adhere to this requirement may result in denial of credit. Please be sure that you have received all cartons you are signing for, and that none are damaged. A signature by you or your representatives signifies all merchandise was received in undamaged, saleable condition (aquariums and sumps free of any cracks, flaws, or damaged frames) and verifies the number of cartons you received is correct as stated on our invoice.

Backordered products Items noted as "backordered" or have become backordered in the process of your order are currently not in stock, but on order with the product manufacturer. These products are fast selling items that have currently SOLD OUT, but more will be arriving soon. Depending on the lead time from the manufacturer, we will generally have your item in stock within 1 to 10 days. Once the item is received into our warehouse, we will process your order and ship out the newly arrived backordered item to you. Items are updated on a daily basis, usually within hours of notification of stock depletion. However, from time to time, recently out-of-stock items are not updated within 24 hours and it may appear as if we're miseading the customer...this is not the case; they are just overlooked. We apologize for any inconvience a "backordered" item may incur; but rest asure, your item will be shipped to you as soon as possible.
